The cut and pocket layout allows them to remain civilian enough not to reveal the wearer's identity, while still allowing them to carry a full tactical loadout. An elastic waistband with Velcro closure allows for size adjustment. Large belt loops allow the use of wide belts such as EDC, UTL®, or Cobra®. In addition, the cut (sewn from blue denim, all to choose from) prevents the shorts from slipping down when worn. The thoughtful pocket layout allows equipment to be placed close to the center of gravity, around the hips and waist. The edges of the front and back pockets are reinforced to withstand the constant movement of lights or knife clips. The two front pockets with Velcro closures are large enough to carry a smartphone - or even an AR/AK rifle magazine. The zippered thigh pockets look flat, but their design allows for easy carrying of holsters or wallets.
