The TYT MD-UV390 GPS DMR is a modern transceiver combining digital and analog modes, making it compatible with a wide range of systems including Motorola Moto TRBO and Hytera DMR. The large color backlit display ensures easy navigation, while the rugged IP67 housing withstands harsh conditions.

With an output power of 5 W, the radio operates on VHF (136–174 MHz) and UHF (400–480 MHz) bands and offers up to 1000 channels. Advanced features include VOX (voice-activated transmission), CTCSS/DCS, time-out timer (TOT), battery saving, and the ability to send text messages up to 144 characters. The integrated GPS module allows for both sending and receiving location data.

The built-in 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery provides long-lasting operation and can be recharged via the charging dock. Additional features include FM radio, emergency alert, headset connectivity, and hands-free support.
