Perun AB++ active brake - Perun
Perun AB++ is a MOSFET located outside the gearbox that converts energy from the battery directly to the motor (instead of through switches on the trigger) via specialized high-performance transistors. This significantly increases the reliability and performance of the weapon. It also adds a number of new and useful features to your weapon.
The unit is designed to be powered by 7.4V, 11.1V, and 14.8V batteries and includes complete wiring. All that is needed is a little soldering when installing the MOSFET.
Description of functions
Electronic dose – changes the AUTO mode to an electronically controlled dose, which reduces ammunition consumption and increases realism.
Active brake – the active brake stops the motor after each shot. This prevents accidental stopping when the spring is compressed. It also solves the problem of double shots in high-rate-of-fire weapons.
Piston Pre-Tensioning - A quick trigger response can be the difference between victory and defeat, especially in CQB. This feature ensures that the piston remains in the rear position after each shot (the spring is compressed) and the trigger response is immediate. To release the spring after using this function, press and hold the trigger for 2 seconds. The second shot will be without pre-tensioning, with the active brake engaged.
Rate of fire reduction - a mode that allows you to reduce the rate of fire (ROF) during bursts to reduce ammunition consumption or to set realistic weapon operation.
DMR mode - sets the intervals between shots (suitable, for example, for complying with DMR rules on some fields).
Low battery voltage alarm - designed for Li-Po and Li-Ion batteries. If the battery voltage drops below a critical level, the user is alerted by short audible signals repeated every minute (the alert can be turned off).
Diagnostics - the electronics constantly monitor the gun and the MOSFET itself. In case of any problems, it will immediately notify you, which will greatly facilitate troubleshooting.
Electronic fuse - protects the gun and battery in case of serious malfunctions. The unit automatically disconnects the battery as soon as it detects a short circuit or motor lock in the circuit, thus protecting the battery from damage.
All modes are set using easy-to-remember sequences of fire selector switch changes and trigger presses. The setting status is indicated by sound and a colored LED. This allows you to change the weapon settings immediately, even under enemy fire in the field.
The AB++ works with any battery with a voltage between 7V and 17V. It can also be used in powerful upgrades, without spring force limitations.
