Thanks to its increased contact area, it provides a better hop-up effect, especially when using heavy BBs. The package includes a metal ring that can be placed on the rubber band for additional sealing, but its use is not necessary. The rounded contact surface ensures a better and more consistent hop-up effect when pressed with the shoulder.
