JACK™ replaces traditional mechanical gearbox components with a programmable pneumatic system, ensuring higher performance and reliability compared to standard systems. A key feature of the JACK™ system is its simple design with a single moving part—a nozzle that functions as a poppet valve. The nozzle is piloted by a solenoid, allowing for efficient air flow through the poppet without the air for firing coming from the solenoid itself. This design ensures higher air flow into the barrel compared to systems that use a solenoid as a firing valve. The muzzle velocity of the JACK™ system reaches up to 500 fps with 0.20g BBs at 130 psi. The velocity can be easily adjusted by changing the input pressure without the need to change the nozzles. Using a standard M4 as an example, the velocity can be set in the range from less than 280 fps to approximately 500 fps with 0.20g BBs, with the barrel length affecting the maximum velocity. The maximum cyclic rate of fire (ROF) of the JACK™ system is 30 rps, which is achievable in most standard configurations. Performance is affected by operating pressure, magazine quality, and the BBs used.
