Field shovel - BW

The BW field shovel – folding Bundeswehr (MFH) is a high-quality reproduction of an army tool popular with the Bundeswehr and other armed forces. Made of strong carbon steel, it offers long life and reliability even under demanding use. When unfolded, it measures approximately 58 cm, with a blade size of approximately 21 × 14.5 cm. The locking joint allows the blade to be folded at an angle of 90° (hoe) or 180° (shovel), which significantly expands its range of uses. The handle is finished with an ergonomic grip for a firm and secure hold. The blade has a smooth edge on one side and a serrated edge on the other, making it suitable for working with roots, sod, and hard soil. When folded, it takes up a minimum of space – approx. 25 × 18 × 7 cm, with a total weight of around 1.2–1.3 kg. It comes with a durable carrying case that can be attached to a belt or equipment. The shovel is perfect for military and civilian use – it is suitable for airsoft, bushcraft, camping, emergency situations, or even everyday use in the field. In extreme cases, it can also be used as a saw or emergency hatchet.
