Smart lighting that responds to your presence. The Fenix CL20R PRO combines powerful area illumination, colourful RGB lighting and an intelligent radar motion sensor in a compact rechargeable lantern.

Whether you are lighting a tent, preparing food at a campsite, working in a garage or looking for equipment in your vehicle, the Fenix CL20R PRO provides comfortable, evenly distributed light.

Its 27 white LEDs deliver up to 400 lumens, while 24 RGB LEDs provide colourful ambient lighting. With a total of 13 lighting modes, the lantern can be adapted to practical tasks, night-time orientation and relaxing outdoor evenings.

Intelligent Radar Motion Sensor

The defining feature of the PRO model is its built-in 5.8 GHz radar motion sensor.

When enabled, the lantern automatically switches on when movement is detected within approximately 1.5 metres.

After 60 seconds without detected movement, it automatically switches off to conserve battery power.

This feature is particularly useful for:

• Tents: Convenient lighting without searching for the switch.

The CL20R PRO uses a hemispherical diffuser to spread light evenly over a wide area.

Its neutral white illumination, approximately 3700–4200 K, provides natural-looking colours and comfortable visibility.

Unlike a focused handheld flashlight, the lantern is designed primarily for area lighting, making it ideal for tents, camping tables and smaller indoor spaces.

Four white light brightness levels allow you to balance output and runtime.

RGB and Red Lighting Modes

In addition to white illumination, the lantern offers RGB lighting for ambient and decorative use.

You can select a preferred colour or enjoy automatically changing colour effects.

A dedicated red light mode provides a low-intensity alternative to white illumination, while red flashing is also available.

Four additional modes illuminate the light ring surrounding the control button, providing subtle orientation or decorative lighting.

Lighting Modes and Runtime

Four additional lighting modes are available through the illuminated control-button ring.

Up to 320 Hours of Runtime

In its lowest white light mode, delivering 1 lumen, the lantern provides up to 320 hours of operation.

This mode is particularly useful as a night light inside a tent or for low-level orientation lighting.

Higher brightness settings of 30, 130 and 400 lumens are available when stronger illumination is required.

Rechargeable Battery with AAA Backup Option

The lantern is powered by the included Fenix ARB-LP1900 rechargeable lithium-ion battery with 1900 mAh capacity.

Charging is handled through the built-in USB-C port, with a typical charging time of approximately 2.5 hours.

A major advantage is the ability to use three AAA batteries as an emergency power source.

This provides additional flexibility when recharging is not possible.

Do not connect the charging cable while AAA batteries are installed.

Magnetic Base and Hanging Loop

The underside of the CL20R PRO features a powerful neodymium magnet and a fold-out hanging loop.

The magnetic base allows the lantern to be attached to suitable ferrous metal surfaces, such as steel structures or vehicle body panels.

The hanging loop makes it easy to suspend the lantern inside a tent or from a suitable hook.

Both options provide convenient hands-free illumination.

20-Minute Auto-Off Timer

The lantern includes a delayed shutdown function.

When activated, the light automatically switches off after 20 minutes.

This is especially useful when falling asleep in a tent or when lighting is only needed temporarily.

Battery Level Indicator

The illuminated ring around the control button also displays battery charge status:

• Solid green: Above 85%

• Flashing green: 50–85%

• Solid red: 25–50%

• Flashing red: Below 25%

Battery level indication is available when using the original Fenix ARB-LP1900 rechargeable battery.

Durable IP65 Construction

The CL20R PRO is manufactured from durable plastic and features IP65-rated protection against dust and water jets.

It is suitable for outdoor use in rainy conditions and is impact resistant to drops from 1.5 metres.
