Airsoft guns are replica firearms designed to shoot non-metallic plastic BBs using compressed air, gas, or electric-powered mechanisms. They are categorized into three main types: spring-powered (manually cocked before each shot), gas-powered (using CO₂ or green gas), and AEGs – Automatic Electric Guns (battery-powered). While they look realistic, they are used for recreational purposes such as airsoft skirmishes, training, and target shooting.
