This one-piece bronze barrel is nickel-plated to provide an extremely hard, smooth surface for increased durability and precision. The enlarged hop-up window accepts high-contact buckings (up to 7 mm contact patch), enabling the use of heavier BBs for improved accuracy. The Solar Eclipse feature adds a microscopic protrusion (0.04 mm) inside the bore that helps the BB hold briefly with minimal contact area, reducing initial friction, improving vertical centering and ensuring a more precise nozzle seal — which can slightly increase BB energy. The Double I/D design pairs a tight 6.03 mm section (for sealing and power) with a widened 6.35 mm tail (for better stabilization of the BB when exiting the barrel). The tail section’s Air-cushion grooves channel the airflow behind the BB, reduce turbulence and create an “air cushion” that enhances flight stability. Compatible with both AEG and VSR-type buckings; recommended buckings are T-N.T. T-Hop and TR-Hop for best results.
